Notes from Transnational Midissage is a video report by architecture studio CENTRALA (Małgorzata Kuciewicz, Simone De Iacobis) and curator Aleksandra Kędziorek on the occasion of the middisage events (27-29.09.2021) by the Curators Collective initiative during 17th International Architecture Exhibition — La Biennale di Venezia.

This 3-day series of events was the result of the first ever in Biennale’s history initiative of national pavilion curators, with aim to create a platform for ideas exchange, cooperation and solidarity. Events organized by Curators Collective, with Polish Pavilion curators PROLOG +1 being part of the initiative, included panel discussions, exhibition guided tours, book premieres and walks. The Midissage opened up space for collective reflection on the question of this year’s Biennale Architettura 2021: How will we live together.

Selected events were broadcasted online:
Shifting the Gaze  — the roundtable collaboratively organized by the Pavilions of Israel, Poland, and Uzbekistan met for a joint event looking for alternative ways of defining the territory. Click to watch on Facebook.
